Outlast Trinity: The Ultimate Horror Bundle. Outlast is a first-person survival horror series developed by Red Barrels. The critically acclaimed franchise is now available for the first time on disc as a complete package. The bundle features over 20 hours of terrifying gameplay across Outlast 1, Outlast Whistleblower and the all new Outlast 2. The protagonists of Outlast have no fighting abilities. They must run, hide or die. Their only weapon is a camcorder they must use to capture the horrible events unfolding as they progress through the game. The camcorder also has a night vision mode to navigate through dark environments. In Outlast 2 you are Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with your wife, Lynn. The two of you are investigative journalists willing to take risks and dig deep to uncover the stories no one else will dare touch. You're following a trail of clues that started with the seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman known only as Jane Doe. The investigation has led you miles into the Arizona desert, to a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.

I watched YouTube videos of the first game, over 20+ times. All the way threw, each time. Something about this game is just addicting to me. It definitely makes you jump and will get your heart going. I love it. And the game douse have re-play value to it. I've played it quite a few times now, mostly due to me trying to get that last trophy of beating it on insane mode. It's both frustrating and fun as hell.

Gotta be honest though, it looses its scare value after you play threw it for the first time. Though, that may have just happened to me due to knowing the game to well from all the videos I've watched.

This is a fantastic game right out of the gate!!! There's a half game in between 1 & 2 so all 2.5 games are well worth 5 stars. If your a fan of the Manhunt series then this is right up your alley. There are plenty of jump scares and the games are disturbing in their own right. I would highly recommend I was not disappointed at all.

I haven't finished Outlast II yet, but my initial impressions are quite positive. I loved Outlast and enjoyed Whistleblower as well, but this iteration kills it with the eerie windswept desert setting. It beckons to be played with the lights low and headphones cranked up. I am currently playing on PS4 and the attention to disgusting detail is spectacular. I find myself wanting to find every scrap of paper but vaulting through the haunted house like corridors and corn fields in order to escape as quickly as possible. The one negative is often times I don't know where to go to avoid death--often times I just run away from the knife -wielding hillbilly. So, there is a trial and error to some sections, but as this game just drips tension--I quickly forgive it. And when the choir kicks in . . . If you love horror films and intense cat and mouse gameplay (where you are the mouse), pick this package up. I bought it here because the digital version was 29.99, but this one comes with Outlast 1 and Whistleblower. With Prime, the entire package was 34.99. Getting the first two games on a disc for $5 is a steal. Keep em coming Red Barrels!

Although its kind of short (depending if you are an achivement hunter or you have a lot of free time) the game is definetly a must buy in my opinion. Plus being able to go back and experience the first outlast and its dlc for such a low price was great. (Lets be honest for 40dollars this is really a sale.)

Outlast II was less interesting to me than the original with regard to the setting and story, but I'm glad I stuck with it to play through that game because my enjoyment increased as the game progressed.

If you enjoy the horror game genre, you'd enjoy this. It's not like a Resident Evil style game, you basically have no offensive capability and aren't out there killing monsters or enemies or anything. More so just trying to survive, escape, and solve puzzles.

I din't mind playing outlast 1 again, I pretty much finished it in 2 hours because I knew what I was doing that time. Then I got to play the whistle blower DLC that I never got to play on my PC, and it even includes the brand new outlast 2. This is a must buy for anyone jumping on outlast the first time.
