I noticed someone else had problems and I wanted to add that I updated to BIOS to the latest version that supports the Ryzen 5. Like I said, no problems and it's rock solid. The memory was a bit pricey, but I figured if it was made specifically to support the AMD motherboards with the X370 and B350 it would minimize the chances of problems and it looks like it did. I am quite happy. :)
One other thing, they mention in the manual and have an additional insert in the box that both state the memory should go in the second and fourth slots counting from the CPU out. The memory part number is F4-3200C14D-16GFX. I am seeing the CPU cores clocking as fast as 4.1 GHz which is fine for me, I plan on burning it all in for a few days and watch the temperatures, I didn't like the feel of the way the fan mounted, it required attaching one side and rocking the fan over the cpu and I am worried about what that did to the thermal paste. So far the highest temperature seen was 72 degrees C. I plan on using this for gaming and 3D modeling, so the extra cores will come in handy when I need it as a workhorse. I read the manual that came with the motherboard looking for references to memory voltage and the only thing I found was "Based on the processor specification, the memory DIMM voltage below 1.35 is suggested to protect the processor." base on that I reduced the memory voltage in the BIOS to 1.34 volts and it is still solid.
I noticed that the cpu temp was fluctuating from 27 celcius up into the mid thirties while the system was idle. Always. So I disabled the "core performance boost" feature in the bios, which is enabled by default. Now it idles in the low to mid twenties, only going higher when I'm doing something. No performance hit that I can see. You might see different results disabling this feature, depending on what you use your computer for.
I chose not to upgrade the bios, because there was no apparent need to in my system.
I sent tech support a question about power connections, which they answered within a day. I should have been able to figure it out myself, but I was impressed with the fast response.
With the office-type work this system usually sees, there was no reason to get anything more exspensive. Good documentation, solid construction as far as I can tell, easy build. No hiccups in the two months I've had the board.
At this point, strongly recommended.
That being said this is my second MSI motherboard and I really like the simplicity of this board. Bios overclocking is simple and provides you with all the options to get the job done.
The LEDs look great and give the case a stunning look paired with the wraith cooler that's included with the Ryzen 1700. I really enjoy the audio boost built into this motherboard and being able to plug in my Razer Tiamat 7.1 headphones without having to dish out another $140 on a quality sound card.
MSI also includes MSI control center which makes overclocking from the desktop a breeze as well as keeping an eye on temps and timings. There is crossfire support which is a big plus.
If you're looking to SLI you'll need a more expensive X370 motherboard. If you're not going to SLI and sticking with a single GPU option or looking to crossfire this motherboard is a no brainier!

Update
There is a beta bios version 1.15 on the MSI forum that is available to download that provides some stability fixes and extra features.Just do a quick google search to find it. There is still memory issues with this board currently so if you have any ram currently running over 2667MHz it will not work and it will default back to 2133.You can however set the ram manually to 2667MHz which is better than nothing until they get this all sorted out. Note: You will need to manually set your ram via BIOS to get it to run anything over 2133MHz.
I have been able to overclock my Ryzen 7 1700 to 3.7Ghz with no adjustment to vcore and everything set to auto and it has been rock solid but remember your mile may vary. There have been rumors going around about disabling SMT in the bios "DO NOT DISABLE" on this board or you will end up in an endless boot loop and be forced to pull the battery from the board to clear the cmos I learned the hard way. This 1.15 bios is beta and still being worked on so use at your own risk.
Also be sure to set power plan to performance as recommended by AMD if you plan on doing any overclocking or benchmarking!
I am using this ram if anyone was wondering https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Memory/dp/B0143UM4TC/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1489351454&sr=1-1&keywords=corsair+vengeance+lpx+16gb

Update: 3/19/2017
There is another beta bios available version 1.21 on the MSI forum but still no support for ram @ 3200MHz. "From what I have heard AMD has some patches coming around MAY to address some of the memory issues people have been experiencing." I haven't noticed any differences upgrading from version 1.15 to 1.21. I am able to hit 4GHz on this board with 1.4v stable so at least we know what this MB is capable of but don't expect higher due to Ryzen CPU limitations.
No matter what anyone says no other MB manufacturer will allow you to overclock higher even on the more expensive X370 MB due to CPU limitations so save yourself some money unless you plan to SLI. If you purchased a 1700x or 1800x I'd return it for the 1700 you will get more bang for your buck but only if you plan on overclocking.

Top reviews from other countries
Overall, as you can see from the below, I don't write fake reviews. I write the good ones when earned and negative ones when deserved. In my opinion, MSI has earned 5 stars. They made a lifetime customer out of me by exchanging my 1st motherboard and now that I am building my 3rd system, I took a look at at its main competitor's reviews and decided to stick with MSI. I had previously bought MSI because it was cheaper than the big competitor but now I'm paying equal value.
Update 1: Installed Win10 Pro and working beautifully.
CONS
(1) If you want more fans, you will need a hub.
(2) The instructions (be sure to line up the correct screw locations for a micro-ATX and look up where to plug the power switch/reset goes). Just search for a video from one of the top tekkies online for an installation walkthrough.
Mobo has an m2 slot for fast SSD memory. I highly recommend getting M2 for speed.
OVERALL
This motherboard is perfect for casual use. I am using the following parts:
- The motherboard $90
- AMD Ryzen 5 3400G 4-core, 8-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon RX Graphics $210
- Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD (CT1000P1SSD8) $140
- USB WiFi Adapter (B08611699V) $20
- Cougar MX330 Case $60
- Power Supply 600W Semi Modular 80+ Bronze Certified, GAMEMAX VP-600-M-RGB - though you can get a much cheaper great brand name power supply than this, like the Thermaltake Smart 500W ATX 12V V2.3/EPS 12V 80 Plus Certified Active PFC Power Supply (PS-SPD-0500NPCWUS-W) $60
- Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) XMP 2.0 $100.99
Total: $450 !
