I loved this novella! It's sweet, romantic, and at times, LOL funny. This is the second book in The Wilde Brothers series. The first book The One (The Wilde Brothers) , tells the story of how Joe and Margaret first meet and fall in love. Joe is one of the five, oh-so-gorgeous, Wilde brothers. He and Margaret have been married for two days and it's now time for them to go on their honeymoon trip. Unknown to Margaret, Joe has planned for the two of them to go camping.

Margaret, a hotshot neuro-surgeon, whose career has recently been shot to hell, isn't too thrilled to go camping--at least not for her honeymoon--but she wants Joe to be happy, so she doesn't protest. When she discovers that Joe doesn't just intend for the two of them to be cozy and lazy around a fire, making love and small talk, but sees this as an opportunity for a full on hunting trip, she is NOT happy! LOL

The story that unfolds is as funny as it is sweet. Joe's brothers, Samuel and Logan, who are both featured in this story, are wonderful. Eldest brother, Logan--an ex-marine whose career came to an abrupt end due to an injury--obviously has a lot of baggage to deal with, but as is his usual habit, he puts aside his concerns in order to take care of his younger brothers. I had to laugh at one scene where Logan is lecturing Samuel and Joe about their idiotic behavior towards the women in their lives, when he says "For the love of God, I feel like I'm running a kindergarten, here." LOL I really loved Logan and cannot wait for him to get his HEA. As for Joe, he is an absolute sweetheart, although a bit of a blockhead when it comes to women.

The story is short, so it progresses very quickly, and there's not much to it. Nonetheless, Ms. Echart, manages to create a story that is completely satisfying with fully developed, lovable characters. I'm look forward to reading other books in this series. FYI, this is not a clean romance. There is a love scene, although it's not overly graphic--at least not in IMO. Happy reading!

Lorhainne Eckhart's stories are always enjoyable, informative and leave you wanting more. This one has new husband taking his wife on a honeymoon via camping. No indoor plumbing, no fluffy bed or other pampering new brides might enjoy to help them feel beautiful.
The Wilde brothers have their own issues amongst themselves, such as Logan taking Ryan, Sam's 14 yr old son for a buzz cut. Plus tracking dirt into the house and devouring a bag of chocolate chip cookies.

My complaints are: the stories end too soon and she does not write fast enough. I prefer to buy the series in an e-Bundle. This way I have all the stories and in their proper sequence.

Believable characters, dialogue and story line.

I will re-read this story and always look forward to, pre-order when possible, new works by this author.

This was a short story that was an enjoyable read. Margaret and Joe get married and for their honeymoon he plans a camping trip out by the lake. Margaret is shocked but goes on it anyway and seems to be enjoying herself until he fires off his rifle to kill food for them to eat. The horses get spooked and take off running. Margaret gets upset, finds her horse and heads back home leaving Joe to wonder what in the world happened. After seeing Margaret back at the house without Joe, they ask what happened. She told them everything ... They take off to go find Joe. They are all sitting around the campfire telling Joe what a knucklehead he was, they decide to pay for a B&B as a wedding present. Margaret and Joe enjoy their stay at the B&B and go back home as a happy couple.
This is a prequel for a series of books about each of the brothers and their lives, none of which I've read yet. Great start to what seems to be a good series to read. Keeps you interested and wanting to see how the story ends.

For me Joe is just do alpha. I understand were he is coming from he can't afford a lot but he never consults with Margaret on her likes and dislikes. He may catch on eventually but I'm not sure. Sure glad Margaret loves Joe like crazy. At least she does not let him get away with himself she just needs to be more direct with him.

Funny, well written sequel to "The One". I laughed so hard... needed tissues for tears falling from my eyes.
I appreciate that the men in that series are not wealthy "knights" that are rescuing women "damsel in distress". They are regular, good looking guys, struggling with with everything that life throws at them, just like most of us.
One more thing, women must communicate! Men are not mind readers! And that's quite obvious in this short story.
Good read and MUST be read after first book. Kind of period at the end of a sentence. I'm looking forward to next book!

Very short story. Joe decides to take Margaret camping for a honeymoon. The night of making love was fantastic, but Joe also decided they could hunt. She was not a happy camper. In the first book, THE ONE, Joe often demonstrated his cluelessness. I just love how he always needed to apologize and very likely have to beg for forgiveness.

This story is so funny and warm. Margaret and Joe have been married 2 days and are just now going on their honeymoon and what a trip it is (NOT). A couple of Wilde brothers come to stay with Joe's teenage son and end up rescuing one of the honeymooners. Quick read will keep you in touch with some of the Wilde's until the next full book comes out soon. Don't miss this!
