THIS COFFEE GRINDER defies all shortcuts. I am absolutely astounded at the quality of the parts, the tight fits, the easy breakdown for cleaning, the nice clean readable markings on where to set the burrs for various brew types - the grind is very consistent. The bottom 'grind catcher' is a double lead thread, which simply means in a half turn it will start to engage, not like a traditional thread and bolt that only has one place to catch and start. Everything about this screams quality and pride.
It stays together very well while grinding (not like the handle flies off like other models I've had), it's easy to hold, and it is VERY easy to grind, doesn't feel like your getting 'rough spots' it just pushes straight thru.
If I made this, I would do nothing but brag about it all day - it is a remarkable piece of quality workmanship
Pros:
• Solidly built
• Upgraded version, grind adjustment is all metal
• Sharp well-cut burrs
• Knurling on housing gives good grip
• Comes with storage bag and cleaning brush
• Breaks down quick for easily for cleaning
• Moving part rides on bearings
• Upgraded burrs (E&B) available on the market
Cons:
• Internal supports are plastic (though they seem really robust)
• Grounds get stuck in sharp corner of bottom camber. Would be better with a rounded or chamfered edge down there.
• Carry bag wasn't properly sewn, coming apart a bit but still works.
• Stepped adjustment
All in all this is a fantastic grinder even if you don't consider the new list price. Even over $100 this would still be a deal. Easily holds it own with grinders that cost twice as much.
Some say it won't do espresso but I was able to get a pretty fine grind in testing and pulled some good shots. If you're really serious about espresso you can always upgrade to E&B burrs as those are purported to work better at fine settings.
Really solidly built. Feels weighty in the hand, grinds smootly, good grip on the housing and good leverage with the handle.
Much bettter than "budget" grinders that are in this price range. They simply don't compare.
Summary: You cannont go wrong with this grinder, you just get so much quality and usability for your money. This really is all you need.
I was impressed with the packaging and apparent quality of this grinder. It is packed with a cleaning brush and a sturdy fabric storage bag. The grinder seems to me to be well engineered and is heavily built.
It is very easy to use and quickly grinds beans to the ideal coarsenes for my morning single cup k-cup brews. I have not used it for other grinds yet, but it has an impressive range of adjustability of coarseness. I assume it will produce other grinds as well as it does my typical one. The grinder is fairly easy to clean.
I've not had this long, so I can't comment thoroughly on its longevity. The build quality seems to bode well for long-term functionality though.
Pros: Well built, wide range of grinds, easy to use.
Cons: Not much to note here, but its capacity might be insufficient for some. It holds enough beans to produce grounds for 1 to 1.5 cups of drip brew, so multiple refills would be needed to make a multi-cup pot of coffee.
I use a two cup Moka pot, and a full load of coffee in this machine is enough for 3-4 coffees out of it. I recommend getting a small spray bottle to spritz the beans before grinding to prevent a dusting effect when pouring out the ground coffee.
But it has a few quirks. The threads on the cup are sometimes a little tricky to get started. It seems prone to static buildup. I haven’t sprayed water on my beans, so I should probably try that before mentioning the issue. More frustrating, is that the bottom of the cup is a threaded disk. From time-to-time, the vibration of grinding causes it to unscrew itself, making a mess. I don’t know why they didn’t use lock-tite. And I don’t know why I haven’t used lock-tite either. Should be a simple fix.

Cons: Static electricity causes ground coffee to stick to the cup and you need to brush it off. Also I wish I had gotten the model with the folding handle. Otherwise it's great

The grinder is heavier than expected and feels extremely sturdy. It looks great and is not too big/small (you can use my picture with the countertop plug in for size reference).
It takes about a golf ball size worth of beans at a time and you can do two of those before you need to empty out the chamber in the bottom (it becomes hard to grind if you overfill). Takes about 30-35 turns to completely grind all of the beans in the upper chamber but this doesn't take very long.
The grind consistency is great. Works perfectly for my Aeropress (1 upper chamber grind) and french press (2 upper chamber grinds). If you are looking for larger amounts of ground beans for a different type of brewing I would suggest buying the bigger size than the C2 25g.
My only cons are that the handle can be squeaky when grinding, it can get pretty static-ey with fresh beans (and you need to use the included brush to clean after use) and that the price seems a bit steep.

The construction is solid and feels very well engineered, the smoothness of the lower compartment's screw thread action is testament to this. The only part that lets down this overall feel is the plastic cover attached to the handle that covers the top compartment when it's attached. Though this isn't very important as all really has to do is prevent debris falling into the grinder or beans from falling out, it's not a very structural component.
The burr grinder does a great job and "feels" better (and faster) when grinding than the ceramic one in my previous grinder.
The handle is comfortable and the shaft/bearing is very smooth in use.
The top compartment holds in the region of 20-25g of beans.
The included brush is a nice touch and aids in cleaning and/or getting any static-clinging grounds off the lower apparatus. The pouch is probably quite nice if you travel with it, but I've not used it.
Overall I'm very happy with this grinder.
