    Product Description

    Compact and wide-angle in one

For landscape or architectural pictures, the ZEISS Loxia 2.8/21 lens allows the photographer to capture outstanding images with their Sony mirrorless camera. The Distagon optical design ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating and the combination of technically advanced elements deliver crisp images from edge to edge even when wide open. With a focussing range from 25 cm to infinity, you can create dramatic compositions with an unusual perspective by getting up close to your subject while still including the background. For wide-angle shots in movies or great landscape vistas in still photography, the compact size, control of focus and assurance of top-quality images make this lens a perfect partner for your Sony camera.

The Loxia range of prime manual-focus lenses has been designed specifically to fit the high-resolution full-frame sensors of Sony E-mount cameras. Size and weight balance the compact format without sacrificing image quality. For videographers the unique DeClick feature allows silent aperture adjustment, and focussing is extremely smooth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lieblingsobjektiv: Mein ersten und sicher nicht letztes Loxia
Reviewed in Germany on October 3, 2017

Thanks for the fast delivery so that I can take this Loxia 21mm/f2.8 to Amsterdam, Netherland.
It is my first Zeiss lens. The smooth focus ring and precise aperture ring imply the perfect build quality. I took almost all photos with it and it never let me down. As a photography amateur, I think it is a more suitable choice for traveling purposes than a 24-70GM because of its size and weight. The manual-focus-only feature doesn't hurt since 21mm is already wide enough.
