One thing to note is that these units, like any motors inside your tank, will add additional heat load to your water. I have a small fan blowing across the top of my tank set on a temperature switch, which increases the evaporation rate and quickly cools the water when the temperature rises above my limits. The fan was 1/20 the cost of any decent chiller unit, much quieter, uses minimal energy and allowed me to use the saved money to buy an ATO to keep the salinity at a constant level, and keep the tank topped off with the additional evaporation load.
In summary, the engineering is sound on this circulation jet, and the price is fair. Just be careful installing the suction cup to the plastic ball pivot...
There are a couple great things about these Hydor Koralia pumps, most notably the price and also the magnets used to attach the pump to your tank wall. It's simple, clean, and easy to move or remove for cleaning. In addition, the pump is very quiet and can barely be heard when running. The only suggestion I would have for this unit is to disperse the water out a bit more as it seems to be pretty directed.
Pros:
+ Lower price than competitors
+ VERY quiet when in operation
+ Magnet attachment system
Cons:
- Concentrated flow where pump is directed, seems like lower GPH as a result
Overall this pump gets the job done and is a good bargain for your money. However, when purchasing a Hydor Koralia pump, be sure to get a larger pump than what you THINK you need, simply because the concentrated flow seems to result in a slightly lower GPH than advertised.
Only complaint is it is difficult to assemble the ball joint that connects the circulator to the magnetic base. It's a tight fit and I nearly broke the plastic, it is definitely fatigued so I need to be careful with it. Some sort of lubricant would have been helpful but I'm not sure what I could have used that would be safe with the fish.. perhaps some gel from my aloe plant.. Oh well, I was impatient and got it to pop in there.
After installing this it created a horrible noise off and on, but it was due to small floater roots sucked in the intake. It creates a strong sucking force behind the motor so beware. I was forced to move areas around to accommodate the fan.

Now for performance, you might think having two 425 gpg pumps plus a 240 is too much, but it's the perfect amount of flow for a 20 gallon tank. I've read some reviews where people only have 1 of these and a 240, or just the 1 itself for a 20 gallon tank. Not enough flow, too many dead spots in the tank. With my setup I ensure I have no dead-spots in the tank.
I agree with some of the previous reviews how these pumps aren't "true 425 gph" pumps. I've always personally felt that with nano pumps you give up some performance because of the small size, hence why I have two of these and a 240.
If you're looking for a nice quite pump for a tank below 30 gallons, I would highly recommend these. I gave this a 5 star rating despite it not being a true 425 gph pump because general rule of thumb you give up some power with any nano pumps.

WASTE OF MONEY!!!
I have seen people complain about the tank ratings post by Koralia saying they are inaccurate but I beg to differ. The ratings are there to guide you which power head provides USEFUL FLOW WITHOUT POSSIBLY UPSETTING INHABITANTS. With that said, I have had experience with all three Koralia nano power heads so I will be reviewing all three.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All three pump generally are designed the same way. I find them very reliable and quiet but they can click when they start up so using them with a wave maker can be annoying. The magnetic mounting is probably the best feature. No more suction cup issues here! You can even slide the magnet on the external side of the glass to move or adjust the location of the pump. These magnets are STRONG so be careful not to let them slam up against your glass! Directing the power head is a little meh. The amount of tilt you get is limited and the power cord works against you and gets in the way. They all come apart the same way and are generally easy to clean. Now for the individual remarks......
First up is the Hydor Koralia Nano 240!!! This pump is pretty timid. It could be used solo in a 5 gallon. For a 10 or 15 you should consider getting 2 unless you are getting some decent water movement from another source such as a Hang-On Back Filter. Another useful feature is to simple remove that one annoying dead spot in larger tanks. They are small and can be nicely hidden from sight.
Second up is the Hydor Koralia Nano 425!! This is a sweet little pump and works great for water movement. I had three ( an example of needing more than one which came out to 1275 gallons per hour ) in a tall 25 gallon marine tank and they did a great job! From personal experience I wouldn't used these in a tank longer than 24" like a 20 gallon long ( 30" long tank ). It can't really reach far enough to the other end.
Lastly is the Hydor Koralia Nano 565!! This a new nano pump from Hydor, The pump basically looks like a 425 but with some mods to push more water. It works fabulous and if you have a 20-40 gallon tank, I would skip over the 425 and go straight to these. The extra flow is worth it, especially if your tank is of the marine type.
Overall these pumps are great. They run quiet and don't need lots of maintenance. There are fancier pumps out there for sure, but spending $50 on these versus $200 on those, these pumps are a win.

Make sure you use both suction cups (one on the inside of the tank attached to the pump and the other on the outside). There's a magnet in the middle of the suction cups, if you use only one suction cup then the magnet vibrates and rattles loudly against the glass. Having the second suction cup on the outside pulls the magnet that's inside the aquarium against the glass, preventing it from rattling.
