I did try a 13 x 9 cake pan which has no lip and it fits with zero wiggle room. I doubt I would use it with convection as it covers almost all the fan vents, but it would be fine for standard baking. I will probably use smaller pans for most cooking. The included enamel coated broiler pan and rack seem durable for the, purpose. The glass front, top areas get the hottest. There is some radiant heat coming into the room but minimal compared to my standard oven. Best part is there is barely any preheat required. My standard oven required almost 25 minutes so that alone should help the electric bill. In Florida I like anything that reduces that bill ! My fish sticks were cooked 5 minutes earlier than expected. I used parchment in a metal pie pan but had to remove the parchment in the first 10 minutes as it was getting quite brown ( it was trimmed to fit the pan)so don't plan to use it anymore in this type of confined area. After reading about problems using Pyrex glassware, I ordered a Emile Henry clay based gratinee dish so I can brown cheese topped foods near the broiler occasionally. I haven't had time to, try all the features, but will update my review in a few weeks.
First look says this is a nice toaster oven for the price with all the features I wanted. It takes up less space than my 1200 watt microwave. The cord is only about 20 inches long, good for me, but may require some people to need an extension. It has a two prong grounded outlet plug. I did not have any issues with the cord getting to warm. At 1300 watts, it should more than meet my needs cooking small meals or casseroles, bagels, etc.
EDIT: I just received the Chicago Metallic 4 pc set with muffin .pan and they are. perfect size for small quantities to bake or broil.
The pans are shallow so would not expect to make a cake, but it would serve to roast veggies or small portions of a casserole dish or fish sticks. For cakes I would use my standard size 8x8 or 9x9 deeper pans. I hear the 6 muffin pan fits a Jiffy recipe so that is nice.
As for the toaster oven, clock is keeping accurate time after 24 hours. I used a light spray of windex on paper towel to clean the grease splatters from my batter fried fish yesterday, looks fine.
UPDATE 12-19-13 clock continues at correct time, settings are easy to use, preheat takes 7 minutes approx so I set my time in advance per the recipe to include 7 minutes, monitor with another timer to put in the food and still expect my food to be done 3-4 minutes earlier than recipe requires. I am having to rethink some of my cooking as I usually have avoided small items that would require my full size oven BUT now I can cook those things economically in this smaller oven. It will not fit a full size roasting chicken as it would be too close to the top oven burners but I am planning to try a small meat loaf this week and a cherry crisp later today...no regrets here.
UPDATE 12/30/13 clock still keeping correct time. I am cooking at 25 degrees lower than recipes call for and also a few minutes less
with great results, quick heat up 5 minutes and cool down compared to standard oven, important in Florida heat.UPDATE 1-22-15 still works like new.
It's large enough to handle any frozen pizza I've ever found in stores. The baking pan that comes with it is handy. I picked up a second wire rack so I could bake two (thin) items at once. The convection fan is very quiet, not that I use it much -- I haven't quite gotten the knack of it. The crumb tray is extremely easy to remove, so easy that one of these years I may actually take it out and clean it. On other ovens I've owned that process is such a pain that I normally wait to clean it until it smokes or catches fire.
One of the best features on this thing is the forced use of the timer. Some folks may not like this. But let's face it, we've all set the kitchen on fire once or twice by leaving the toaster oven on. Storing your lantern fuel next to it doesn't help matters; ask me how I know this. Now you can set it and forget it, knowing that your adult beverages will remain safe in the refrigerator.
There is a clock on the thing that you can set if you care. When the power goes out it doesn't annoyingly blink 12:00, it just starts at 12:00 and runs as usual. This may be a welcome feature for folks out in the boonies. Or if you live in a 3rd world country with unreliable grid power. Or if you have neighbors that like to come over with bolt cutters and cut down your power lines. You get the idea. I like being able to come home and see exactly what time the power came back on, and I especially like not having the thing blinking when not set.
Now the gripes, but nothing important enough to knock off a star:
- There are only up-down arrows to set the cooking time. It starts out at 30:00 and you have to keep pressing over and over to get to the time you want. This makes setting certain times very cumbersome, but this is acceptable to me because a full keypad would probably clutter up the device. If you're blind you probably don't want this model because there is no feedback for when the buttons are pressed. Ditto if you are missing all of your fingers or something. Be careful with that chainsaw because the buttons are too hard to press with your nose. Ask me how I know this too.
- The light remains on the entire time the oven's on by default. This is a waste or power and bulb life. It only takes one press to turn it off but I often forget. It would be better if there was a way to change the default setting. Maybe I should read the manual before complaining though. :)
- You cannot change from convection bake to regular bake, etc without starting all over. Same with toast darkness setting. Many things cannot be changed once started which I find rather annoying.
- The top of the thing gets rather hot. So much heat on the outside means wasted power, but I suppose it's unavoidable. You definitely don't want to set your beer down there, or store your bread on top of the oven.
- Toasting takes way too long. Silly me for trying toast in a toaster oven. Buy a separate cheap toaster or give up toast. It probably causes cancer anyway.
All in all, I am extremely pleased with this oven. You will be too. Buy it. If I had a 2nd kitchen I'd buy a second one. When this one starts on fire or accidentally gets on the wrong end of the shotgun I'll buy this exact same model to replace it.
** Update ***
8 years later it's still going strong! I got lazy about 1 year in and stopped manually turning off the light when cooking, but the bulb remains working and I've never changed it. I'm still using this as my ONLY oven in the house. I could not be more pleased! I've not once in these 8 years had anything that wouldn't fit in this oven.. Sure you can't bake a large turkey but if you condone killing animals you're going straight to hell anyway.

Moi je suis satisfaite car je l'utilise seulement comme un four et pas comme un grille pain, c'était le but de mon achat.
However, what IS an issue is that after about a month's use, the door fell off on the right side, and keeps falling off, so that to use it I usually have to wrangle it back on every time I open it. I'm a mature person opening the door properly, not someone being unduly rough in any way.
So for the shoddy construction alone I would not recommend it, though it functions well otherwise.
