Product Description

Maintain a comfortable temperature indoors with the Holmes Reversible Twin Window Fan. Designed to fit most double-hung and slider windows, this double window fan takes in fresh, cool air from the outdoors to provide cooling comfort. Each of the unit's two fans can be independently reversed, allowing you to intake fresh air, exhaust stale air, or exchange air for full-room circulation. Featuring two speed settings and a one-touch programmable thermostat, the fan lets you easily adjust airflow in accordance with your personal comfort level. Water-resistant motors make the fan safe for use during rainy weather. And thanks to its adjustable extender screen and extender panel, the fan can fit securely in a wide range of window sizes. Control the thermostat and 2 digital comfort settings with the 1Touch controls. It's in with the good air and out with the bad air with the Holmes® Electronically Reversible Twin Window Fan . This window fan operates quietly and efficiently by taking-in fresh, cooler, outdoor air and exhausting stale, warm, indoor air for cooling comfort.

Because the unit is lightweight plastic it can be moved easily from room to room. The fans have six blades and measure 8-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall, the unit is 12-1/4 inches high, arrives fully assembled, and carries a three-year warranty against defects.

258 customers mention184 positive74 negative

Customers like the size of the electric fan. They say it fits well in their window frame, and the expanding filler makes it easy to insert into a standard 36" window. They also appreciate the fact that the fan is narrow enough to fit in front of the window screen.

Customers are mixed about the quality of the fan. Some mention that it runs quietly and does the job, while others say that it seems flimsier and noisier, and is more cheaply made than the old OG 2020 version. Functional, but not as strong as I hoped
4 Stars
Functional, but not as strong as I hoped
This Holmes window fan can be set to intake or exhaust air, and that's a big plus. It has simple controls, and it's easy to cycle through its speeds. The fan is pretty light; I can easily hold it up and set it in my window with one hand (I'm a male who lifts weights). It has a built-in expander that adds roughly 5 inches to the length of the fan to fill in a window sill. It also comes with an external expander that you can slide onto the opposite side of the fan and that, too, adds an additional 5 inches to the fan's length. Fully extended, the fan is close to a yard long. Without expanders, the fan is about 2 feet long. See all my pics for visuals. The most irritating thing about the fan is that in order to turn it off, you have to continuously click the Mode button to go from high to low, then through all 5 temperatures of high, then through all 5 temps of low, and then finally it's turned off. Does it take that long to do so? No, but it's a weird system. It'd be nice to just have a power off button.I use my window fan to help vent my kitchen, and it does a fair enough job. I wish it was stronger though. On the highest setting, the fan does pull air out of my kitchen at a reasonable rate, but I need it to vent even more. I rarely use it to cool my house, but if you're hoping to cool a large room, it might not be strong enough. This fan can probably do an OK job of cooling a smaller bedroom.Noise-wise, the fan isn't that loud, especially in low setting. I've had my fan for around a year now, and so far no problems have come up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, easy to install however bit noisy.
Reviewed in Canada on September 8, 2019
Easy to install and can be used as exhaust/removing inside air, intake/bringing the outside air or combination of both either way. (Make sure to wait till blades completely stops before changing the settings of the blade flows).

Thermostat will shut off according to your set temperature (it’s in Fahrenheit degrees - if only have option to Celsius degrees will be great). Not sure for accuracy of the thermostat though.

Fan noise tolerable for living room purposes and in low mode however for bedroom might be bit noisy.

Extender bit short to my living room, wish have been longer.

Overall amazing and great product.
