1. When mixed with sea salts, baking soda, etc. the colors are super vibrant - when mixed with melt and pour soap base I had to use a bit more to get the desired color
2. They mix well together - I used equal parts of the Turquoise and Lime to make a simply gorgeous teal color for an Ocean Breeze bath salt
3. The colorant does not dye your skin - I have to admit I was super worried about this - I most certainly did not want to look like a smurf! I elbow tested first, that way if I turned blue I could hide it with a long sleeve shirt. I soaked my elbow for 15 minutes, no discoloration! Whew! Smurf crisis averted.
4. They blend well with essential oils and carrier oils - I make a wet mixture to slowly sprinkle into the dry ingredients of my bath bomb to prevent the citric acid from activating - it was super important that the colorant and my other wet ingredients worked together.
5. A quick note - the bottles are not labeled, no big deal because you can untwist the top to determine exactly what color it actually is, however, I opted to add a label to the front of each bottle just to make things go quicker.
I highly recommend this products for all of the reasons listed above.
Bath Bomb Recipe
1 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Citric Acid (purchased in grocery store canning section)
1/2 cup Epsom salt (you can double the citric acid is you select not to use Epsom salt)
1 tbsp Rose Witch Hazel
2 tsp Essential Oil of choice
3 tsp Sweet Almond or Jojoba oil
1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium size bowl
2. In a separate bowl mix all liquid ingredients together - I then place this mixture into a spray bottle, but that is optional
3. Slowly add liquid mixture to dry mixture kneading with your hands every time - I use a spray bottle to do this so I can constantly mix while spraying
4. Once mixture is wet enough to hold together press into mold of your choice
5. I allow bath bombs to sit over night, however, they will set up within a couple of hours.

Update 9/26/17 - Changed my review from 2 to 4 stars, so after more research I discovered that it's important to use your hand to disperse the color. It takes a lot of drops but if you use hands and fingers to mix it up the color does disperse. I use a glove to keep my hands clean and these are the best price for amount I have seen so far.
Update 10/5/17 - after more use, the color works but whether I use a lot or a little, the best I get is pastel colors so if you're looking for something more vibrant these are probably not it.

Bath bombs are a white base, and this is for a soap (clear) base. Had I bought them for soap, I'd be extatic. But because I searched bath bomb dye and found this, it doesn't work so well.
For the bath bombs the color is muted, and not vibrant....
